For Girls like me...

Hey Girl , no girl , dont worry,
as worry are pure waste,
they can only bring more worry.

Hey Girl , no girl ,dont be afraid to be alone,
as sometimes alone is a way to go,
and most powerful form of own.

Hey girl , go girl ,go dare,
as explorer are always doubted,
but when do they care.

Hey girl, go girl, go enjoy,
as there is no other source,
but only YOU to invent joy.

Now and Then .........

Its has been more than a year that i have joined my college and things have been different ....different in the sense , different as compare to my previous college which was 'all girls' .After 1 year I have got to see both sides of coin , thus this blog is somethings i remember i noticed.
  • Some obvious facts- Things at co-ed are bit secret in terms of femininity or i should rather say OPEN in all girls college which i have no complains for.
  • Girls etiquette quotient- In all girls college , we can carelessly lay on grass, 6 people can eat nonsense in 1 plate, lie open mouth on the back bench of the class with nobody staring at your laziness....BUT you dare do that in co-ed.....people come thinking... "oh gosh ! what happen?"....
  • Boys etiquette quotient- Believe me all of the above artifacts will performed by guys ( obviously with no questioners) but a moment 'a girl' comes on radar, some etiquette overloading occurs in boy- " Come....have a seat here...." I hope fresher girls are empathetic....still no complains :P :D
  • Comment /Compliment- Compliments are the best part of all girls college... :). But , at co-ed....they are like expensive tulips , can't give to everybody , similarly can't accept from everybody.
  • Satisfying facts- You really don't need to scream for bunk on somniferous lectures....always there will be somebody present who will reach their brim before you do.
  • SPORTS--'jai ho'-- I have experienced the sportsmen spirit only here in MSIT (co-ed) , hence nothing supersedes that...all girls doesn't have a tint of it(Sorry girls).
  • Birthday Bashes-Birthdays are celebrated on mass scale in co-ed......groups , classes no bounds.... you will find many Friends happy to wish you.....they will be hunt you and celebrate your birthday .... It is unpublished "rule" at MSIT....AND If you are lucky one, it will be mass bunk on that day and you will be entertained and entertaining whole (believe me) whole class in canteen and bunker's lane.Though allgirls college is bit decent on birthdays.

Besides this no matter where you are , you will always find friends around who are easy going and have good hearts and parties are FULL2 in colleges whether its Girls or boys....

I*OSI*ER

Day today we come across different people and have different experience with them. But there are few people we actually remember....infact want to meet again. And now a days, new species have evolved, like whole new race.As i have observed, there are some people whom i always find happy.....they radiate happiness.Infact ,their aura is such that when ever i find them on my radar, smile summons like pimple on the face that doesn't go away. And its not just one person, they are multiple in my life. And all of them have one thing in common.....they are all positive thinkers and i call them POSPERS (positive{thinkers} person). So here are some qualities which are easily observable in this species;-
  • They smile alot in public and people around them looks like they have just met Eutychia.

  • They never say no . They have their own way of saying different opinion. And argument,,, 'argument' is not even a dictionary word.No wonder even the intense people don't mind their company.

  • (this one is bit boring at times but useful in their own sense) They might be good listeners but when it comes to speak about the topic like positive approach towards life and better option among the two....they can't stop themselves. They test your patience and you are left as a poor listener without a single comment of being an enduring one.

  • They have some source of ultimate positivity that even at times of problem, they maintain their virtue.Sometime only misunderstanding accompany them, specially in the case where the similar positivity is not reciprocated.Still they are the SURVIVORS!!! (i mean many a times ;)

  • And at last they are true Friends, good at heart. (dil par bhi lange to style mein) they know how to forgive in friendship and let petty things go.

These qualities are the mixture of observations i have made in all the POSPER i have met. I have been lucky to encounter few and blessed with one.May god produce them in bulk.May be '1 par 1 free'.(1 free with each)

Unwritten...The Panteen commercial song

I am unwritten,
can't read my mind
I'm undefined
I'm just beginning,
the pen's in my hand,
ending unplanned......

Staring at the blank page before you,
Open up the dirty window,
Let the sun illuminate the words
that you could not find,
Reaching for something in the distance
So close you can almost taste it,
Release your inhibitions.

Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips,
Drench yourself in words unspoken,
Live your life with arms wide open,
Today is where your book begins,
The rest is still unwritten......
(tuun utun ten ten na na na)

Oh, oh, oh

I break tradition,
sometimes my tries,
are outside the lines.
We've been conditioned to not make mistakes,
but I can't live that wayyyyyyy,no
Staring at the blank page before you,
Open up the dirty window
Let the sun illuminate the words
that you could not find
Reaching for something in the distance
So close you can almost taste it
Release your inhibitions

Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips
Drench yourself in words unspoken
Live your life with arms wide open
Today is where your book begins
The rest is still unwritten

Staring at the blank page before you
Open up the dirty window
Let the sun illuminate the words
that you could not find
Reaching for something in the distance
So close you can almost taste it
Release your inhibition

Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips
Drench yourself in words unspoken
Live your life with arms wide open
Today is where your book begins.......

Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips
Drench yourself in words unspoken
Live your life with arms wide open
Today is where your book begins
The rest is still unwritten
The rest is still unwritten
The rest is still unwritten

Computronics

My recent transition from electronics to computer major have been quite an experience. These are not too similar subjects.Things i have noticed with electronics is that it is just like sherawat mam (very strict). It wants everything IDEAL.After every practical topic for example switches , they will tell you that what are its ideal characteristics? and almost every explanation of ideality will follow a same prototype line saying "it is practically not attainable".
On the other hand, while i have been just acquainted with computers, i find it a bit imaginative.it says imagine....that there are 5 philosophers on dinning table (operating system), imagine that you have to wear shoes and socks (topological sort), imagine that there is a bridge(fundamentals of cs).................but i am not complaining,i am good at imagining these.Drawing taught me that.In fact to an extend that in my first implementation to the make metro DFD, we (me and Dimple) almost provided metro with a advertisement management system that too on single cloud of thought. And a moment we saw metro, we realise that even metro can't fit on that cloud at this point of time. Anyways we will fit it some day.....
But,I finally believe that ‘both electronics and computers are inevitable to each other’.
HOW?? Read on……
Suppose you are making a project on line follower, for that you will need to know electronics basics to make its hardware structure and to make it run only in certain conditions you will have to program it accordingly which will need skill of language. So, you have to have the knowledge of both to make your project work. Same goes with any company as well. E.g. any mobile making company, there manufacturing unit will be electronic base and its software will be designed in another unit which is computer base (mostly it is given to any other solution provider company).
Thus, both are inevitable to each other. Hence, the name computronics.

Slumdog won Oscar!!

yippieeee!! Rahman got oscar for slumdog with other 7 people for same movie .Though slumdog's music is not the best of rahman still it was not a surprise, he should have got it 10 years ago after rangeela and taal. Not to forget his preceding songs. The diversity he is giving in music is expanding with his each creation. The best movie award to slumdog was unexpected.....that was nice one too.Anyways cheers to rahman!!
Couldn't write that day.Week went busy with all the fests,
don't know how but all the colleges thought of going for fest simultaneously. But,i wont write about it ,i have lots to write .
First of all happy women's day.NOW, i have something else to share.Conclave,a Live summit by india today on NDTV yesterday. It was a must watch. The guest was daring former president General Peace Musharraf ( as named by orator).I must say this man have gutts to come and answer the questions here.It seems like every body was their for him.Ofcourse not to greet him.He started with speech, some hilarious instances from the past with our president.Every body very patiently listened, even laughed. It was amicable environment .Questioning round was the actual thing.what he said?? some 'we are victim' quotes in starting, reminded again and again that his daughter has told him not to come here but still he is brave to be here. Then gave some straight answer to straight question, then came same twisted answer to series of question 'i want peace, i came for peace.lets forget past' general peace answered to one question. 'there have been hatred in the past, lets burry it' answer to other,'no one can come to my country and answer the question like this',,'i will like to keep quite on this one'.Every question he would have wished to neglect was asked to him, but he was answering them with smile on his face( though sometime forced one).Even orator very conciously mantained the hillarious environment. Then came some strong ones like Farukh abdulla - this man got him. First time in the summit he was taking a pause with sweat.Even general Malik(he was general counterpart at time of kargil), a chess player Kasarov made him think twice before he say something. At one instance he almost forgot his mother tongue. It was fun watching the Summit .Summit ended with him searching for the adjective that how he found this experiance like-"its was my............................very...........................................................intresting answering these questions."
my take on it-
He might have lied at some instances but not all.No matter how much he is disliked , one thing he was saying again and again( some time to defend himself) is actually what we want, thats PEACE.Baggages of past are never weightless but it should be us to see that they dont effect the future like it has been till now in this case.

Oscars missed it

Our sessionals finished yesterday. And i laid my hands on any next movie on tv. I saw a movie.I must say i never choose a movie with a slightest shade of despair and hence this movie's promo couldnt tempt me.I admit i loooved its music before , but now i love the movie as well. This movie is DIFFERENT.So though i am kind of a year late to write about this movie,my today's blog is about this one.
Taare Zamee Par---man, awsm movie!!!! real characters, apt actors, brilliant direction, but its strongest point is its story. Ishan, a little child with some unsorted things and parents unwilling to solve them.....,,,how things were sorted by his perfect mentor Ram.This character Ram ,the way he thinks and most importantly feels for children is rare. anyways happy that i saw it better late than never , just that i missed it on big screen.i wonder why it didn't got nominated for oscars??. Now i am looking forward to slumdog millionare, will write again.

Spin a yarn

Anoogunj the university fest went last week.Every thing muggle..... people performing , food stall, some competitions and some more stall.....just like any other cultural fest. And an eve teaser got bitten up. yes , this was rare. A brat trying his hand in fest, girl called guys from security. Then it all started, 2 on the face, 1 in tummy, 3-4 legs(didn't counted exactly). This was all we saw till we left after having pleasure . Else ,i don't have much to say in this blog.
o yes ! recently in one of the fest, we play a game called 'spin a yarn'.and i kind of liked it.About the directions for game- there will be a word given to you (any random crazy word) and player have to write a story out of it.and story making some sense is considered winner. Its kind of wacky game if player is wacky enough.we (me n my sis) added something else as well. to make this game for two, every next line will be given by the alternate player.Remember ,sentence once written can't be editted. So todays blog is our game with these rules. readers may not risk reading it, try to play it instead that will be much better.
The word is HEART
Here is the CREATIVELY CRAZY story...................
Once upon a time there was a princess. She may not be the most beautiful one, but she had heart of gold and the expectional intellect. she was great at solving puzzles.Just she wasn't intersted enough :)))).But then she came across her hidden talent. The talent to make people happy.........she became a stand up comedian.she planned couple of jokes.and went in the court to get some appreciation, she started mumring her lame jokes as she had a stage fright.it was a food court( she was intelligent ,she should know that no body was gonna listen to her there). she knew it , so she droped her idea n had a big jumbo burger. she tried her hand on bowling. and she spotted a guy who was playing well.so she planned to beat him up................. in the bowling game ofcourse(what did u thought). With that thought she wondered ,that what can she do?.she was a girl with a vision, a vision to do good to little orphan girls.she went back to her castle and talked to her father. Her father insisted of giving it up but her heart of gold didnt agreed.so she made a community called 'v-put' to put in money for young orphan children..............
pink color- niti
blue color- neha
i guess blog is getting bigger,so lets leave it here.i still think that it can be extented , if players are more.

Badminton

We celebrated our sports week , previous week. played after quite a much time , may be thats why i enjoyed every moment of it and the week went like no study and only games.Watching cricket, volly ball matches worthed bunking period/s. and how can i forget my favourite badminton? i took part in both singles and doubles. the matches went like blast. the fun with freindly matches was great.i also came across the fact that many of my class mates are brilliant players. they not only played well but their sportsmen spirit was movitating .and i must say ,cheering for freinds is quite a talent. and some of my freinds are best at it.Perhaps that was the reason why i didnt felt bad when i didn't won.Anyways, playing badminton again reminded me of its basics like
  • know the rules, 50% of the points can be made by knowing the simple basic rules of the court.
  • decide a position in court from where whole of the court is reachable. mostly it is the middle of your part of court.
  • no matter where you move, come back to your initial positions and keep reviving them in between .
  • be flexible , if needed reset your initial position according to the strategy of your opponent.
  • dont forget to surprise your opponent, if he expect you to service harder, go slow. Similarly the other way.
  • 'only tall people win in badminton'- i dont know who said but its totally crape. tall people may get edge in smash but thats not always true.
  • be reflexive and give a little jerk to the smashes with little force.

they are surely not all . anyways the game was pure fun. nice startup at college's new semester.

Feel Good Factor

Greetings!
My first blog.
Till now i had been writing everything in my dairy entries ( since my 7th grade teacher said "its nice") ,more n more in my answer sheets, preity much in note books, some things in scrap books of my freinds and a little on phone ;) but, today i got inspired to write for nothing , just for 'feel good' factor .hence, i am blogging dearies!!
This itself makes many things clear like i'll be writing whenever i feel like, there wont be any time factor like i had in my recent article for college magazine ( see i have already started it ). so here come next, i'll be writing about my experiences and try not to write about me ( though that seems difficult) , i wont be responsible for any of the spelling mistakes as thats my signature writing or some of the keys in this keyboards need to handled gently and ofcourse there is always a dont care condition.
I started writing while listening to 'pehli nazar mein' song. and by the time i have figured out what's the heading? the song goes like this- 'hands in my pocket' , which defines my state of mind. ya will be writing soon.
